Lions and Tigers and Naan, Oh My!
Time for the last of my 5 Disney favorites. I had a really tough time deciding what to talk about for my last item. I was tempted to go with Raglan Road as one of my very favorite dining experiences, but then there's also favorite character meal. I was equally tempted to talk about Early Morning Magic because I absolutely adore the optional ability to gain some "quieter" park time, even if it does cost a bit more, but I'm holding out for the Toy Story EMM before I pick a favo

One of Arrr Favorites!
I am way late for day 4 of my 5 Disney favorites! A variety of things derailed my day yesterday but better late than never I always say. My pick today is Pirate's League at Magic Kingdom. I know a lot of people love and/or aspire to a visit to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in the castle, and it's certainly a cute and unique experience, but having done both multiple times, I can honestly say I prefer the Pirate's League. It's an added benefit that it's a bit cheaper than the b

It's a Spooky Fun Time!
Day 3 of my 5 favorite things at Disney is all about one of my favorite holidays, Halloween! I can often be a big critic of the costs of Disney's "extras," but I still love Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. When you consider that you can get into the park 3 hours prior to closing in addition to your 5 hour party, all for the around the same price as a single day ticket, that's not completely outrageous. Remember that this is a hard ticketed event which means you do not h

Arrr Favorite Thing at Magic Kingdom
For day 2 of my 5 Disney favorites, we're headed to Magic Kingdom. Although I don't typically recommend it for first timers because it takes a little extra time and because there's already plenty to see and do in MK, Treasure of the Seven Seas is a must-do IMO for Disney veterans. What I have always loved most about Disney in general are the details. Whether it's the key under the mat in HS, the intentionally crooked shutters in Liberty Square, or the music lessons down the s

Surf's Up at Disney!
It's day 1 for my 5 favorite things at Disney. These are in no particular order for the most part but If you're the athletic/adventurous sort, this may truly be the very best thing at Disney. Surf lessons at Typhoon Lagoon are AMAZING! For $190, you get about 2.5 hours of lessons, partially on land but lots of wave riding too. All lessons take place prior to park opening which makes for a very early morning. We arrived at 6:45am which meant we had to Uber there (or Minnie Van

A True Top 5 Experience
It's day 5 of my Top 5 Favorites at Disney and I may have saved the best for last...dinner at Victoria & Albert's. While this is definitely not something everyone can or will want to book, it was something my husband and I did for a special occasion and do not regret it one bit. To say this meal is expensive is an understatement, but the quality of food they serve is impeccable and like nothing we have ever experienced before/since. There's a reason it's consistently rated on
